If you haven’t visited Cheekwood lately, now is the time to go! The grounds are absolutely beautiful! Cheekwood boasts 100,000 tulips in bloom right now, plus many other gorgeous blooming flowers.
The colors are so vibrant they will take your breath away. Does “Tip toe through the tulips” come to mind? Probably only if you are a certain age.
We had such a wonderful time walking through the gardens, enjoying the aroma of the the flowers and the warmth of the day. There is something about gazing at flowers that feels you with joy and puts your mind at ease.
Watching them gently flow with the breeze definitely takes you to another place and time.
Seeing tulips in bloom tells me it is Spring! I found some quotes about Spring and flowers that I wanted to post along with the pictures. I hope you will enjoy this blog and it will make your smile!

Fling off thy sadness!
Fair vernal flowers, laugh forth
Your ancient gladness!”
